Video On Demand (VOD) Streaming Instructions

Those who will be streaming, and/or uploading pre-recorded videos, you will receive an email with a login link, and your login user and password.

If you are streaming, please use this link to login to the backroom of our video streaming service to download the OBS encoder and see your encoder and publishing info.

You can also use this login to upload pre-recorded videos. Just name them with the name of the band-descriptive title of video, select VOD from the menu on the left, and upload. If they are larger than 2g in size, email us at aprankster@gmail.com and we will send you a Google drive link instead;

How to upload videos:

1. Get Started with VOD Streaming
Creating video on demand content over  our streaming service  requires uploading media files to our network of servers. To do this, sign into your account using the link and login info you were sent by email, and click the plus button found on the front page after logging into your account.

2. The File Uploader and Supported File Types

After clicking UPLOAD FILES, the file uploader will launch. MP4 files with H.264 video (baseline profile) and AAC audio (low complexity profile) are natively compatible with the system. If your file is in a different format, or not sure, you can select to AUTO ENCODE so that the file is compatible with our system. You can always choose to transcode the file later as well if you prefer, and if so, read the documentation at the bottom of the page.

3. Creating VODs
When you are ready to start, click the addFiles button  button. This will let you search your hard drive for media files to upload. Once you have selected the file, the upload will begin. You can upload up to three files at a time. While three files are uploading, you can find the fourth file in a queue until the others have finished.
